Rich in Mechanics

Rich Wilson spent a good portion of his childhood with his head under an open hood, learning to fix cars and small engines at the elbows of his father. Along the way, he developed a talent for taking cars apart, getting them running like new, and then putting them back together again.

Though Rich’s fascination with mechanics started at a young age, it never wavered and only grew. By the early 1980s, he began repairing rental equipment for a local rental store, and he signed up for every automotive class available in high school and then technical school.

In 1989, Rich went into business for himself full time, opening Wilson Auto Repair in his family’s single-stall garage. Here, Rich concentrated on repairing cars for dealerships.

By the early 1990s, word of Rich’s skill had spread, and business grew to the point where he needed to build a new 3-stall automobile repair and body shop. In 1996, Wilson Auto Repair added an additional stall and office space to meet demands.

It was 2003 when Rich decided to narrow the focus of Wilson Auto Repair to automobile repairs. Business continued to grow as satisfied customers shared their positive experiences with friends and family.
